The RSC Summit, held on October 3–4, 2026, brought together international experts across surgical specialties to exchange experience and discuss advances in robotic surgery, surgical education and technological innovation.
Dr Inan delivered two presentations: “Closing the Gap: The Art of Robotic Diastasis Repair” and “Building the Next Generation: The Art of Robotic Mentorship.”
The first lecture addressed functional reconstruction of rectus diastasis through posterior robotic approaches, including the Inan Inverting Plication (IIP) technique. The second explored contemporary robotic training, simulation and the essential role of mentorship in developing surgical judgment and preserving fundamental operative skills.
Continuing International Collaboration
Dr Inan has contributed to the RSC scientific programme since 2023, when he was invited to the inaugural Istanbul meeting to present robotic eTEP and TAR techniques.
His continued involvement reflects a longstanding commitment to advanced robotic surgery, international collaboration and surgical education.
